Wax body cast

Amy created a wax sculpture of her bust to discuss how the female body is viewed, how society dictates breasts as purely sexual and how the female form is seen as public property. The sculpture was created with the intention of being in a public setting for an audience to interact with, the more the body is touched the more it is worn down, resulting in the red layer underneath becoming visible.
